Early Years Learning Resource Pack
Early Years Learning Resource Pack
Early Years educators and centres across Australia have asked us, now we have answered – introducing our Early Years Learning Resource Pack.
Feedback from early years educators has been that there is still a desperate need to effectively extend and enrich children's learning of Aboriginal perspectives across the Early Years Framework.
Our Early Years Learning Resource Pack includes step-by-step instructions and guides for all learning activities, alongside our stack of culturally appropriate learning resources below to support your delivery of Aboriginal Perspectives across all 5 outcomes of the Early Years Learning Framework.
Our pack framework is structured to incorporate the cultural knowledge of your local area, whilst covering a range of learning abilities and teaching strategies via:
- Yarning circles using your very own Deadly Ed outdoor yarn mat
- 5 books including the 2022 Children's picture book of the year Somebody's Land
- An array of Cultural artefacts including a possum skin, clap sticks, Coolamon, message sticks, a Boomerang, and Emu Caller!
- Maps from Nardurna & AIATSIS
