Reconciliation Action Plans
An organisational strategy or Reconciliation Action Plan is an important step for any organisation and their outcomes for First Nations people, community and Country.
Deadly Ed provides:
- Step-by-step guidance, support and advice for development, launching & implementing your RAP at any of the RAP phases of Reflect through to Elevate
- RAP artwork design and RAP document graphic design
- Development of Cultural learning and Employment strategies, review of HR & Procurement policies
- Executive & RAP Working Group mentorship, plus assistance throughout implementation

Cultural Awareness Training
This 2-hour session (remote/online training via Microsoft Teams/Zoom) is suitable for induction/onboarding or for whole team training.
Attendees will increase their cultural confidence and awareness, define cultural safety in the workplace, unpack stereotypes & the nervous 'eggshell' questions about culture, learn about Country and Welcome/Acknowledgement of Country and receive resources and guidance to continue learning.
This training creates a safe space for all to develop their cultural understanding and awareness in a fun and engaging way.

Full day program + On-Country session
An expansion of our cultural awareness training with the added bonus of getting outside to explore and connect with Country, providing additional learning around stereotypes and cultural safety in the workplace.

Early Years Educator PD
Our Early Years Educator PD course targets the following outcomes, using a variety of engaging activities, resources, and hands-on learning;
- Your connection with Aboriginal culture & barriers to delivering Aboriginal Education
- Resources & activities to increase my own confidence and capability
- Embedding Aboriginal Education across the EYLF and using culturally appropriate resources
- Goal setting and creating a plan for embedding Aboriginal culture into my centre

Primary & Secondary Teacher PD
Our one-day course “Deliver Deadly Aboriginal Education” for primary and high school teachers targets the following outcomes, using a variety of engaging activities, resources, and hands-on learning;
- Your personal connection with Aboriginal culture
- Current barriers to delivering Aboriginal Education within the classroom & school
- Improving staff confidence & debunking the ‘eggshell topics’
- Embedding Aboriginal outcomes across the curriculum with authentic resources
- Where to go & who to access for support in your local area

On Country PD
Our cultural immersion day is designed to get staff out of the office environment to learn more about Aboriginal culture, whilst participating in a range of hands-on cultural learning activities.
Schools have the option of activities including:
- Connection to Country & cultural uses of native plants
- Cultural artefacts (ever wanted to throw a boomerang or spear?)
- Aboriginal art & sand art (pictured)
- Cooking with native ingredients
- Cultural dance
- Traditional weaving
