Our Deadly Ed corporate training programs create opportunities to enhance cultural awareness, connection to country, and offers unique ways for all to get hands on with Aboriginal culture.
Online Program
This can be a 1 or 2 hour session and is suitable for induction/ onboarding and for teams requiring a remote and online training platform (Microsoft Teams/Zoom).
During this session, attendees will:
- Understand their own connection with Aboriginal cultures
- increase their confidence and capability regarding Aboriginal culture and create awareness in the workplace
- Understand parts of Australian history and perspectives on their impacts today
- Get recommendations on suitable resources to continue their learning
Half & Full day program
This is an extension of the online program, but includes additional learning around stereotypes, cultural safety in the workplace and the organisations progress with its Reconciliation journey.
The afternoon session provides an on-country learning experience about:
- Native plants and their significant Aboriginal cultural uses
Optional catered Bush Tucker morning tea (additional cost)
Cultural Immersion
Our cultural immersion day is designed to get staff out of the office to learn more about Aboriginal cultures, whilst participating in a range of hands-on cultural learning activities, including:
- Connect with Country - bush walk and native plants
- Intro to cultural dance
- Aboriginal artefacts, tools & weapons
- Aboriginal art & traditional weaving
This can be customised to fit your time & budget constraints
