In this workshop children will have a fantastic time getting to know various types of Aboriginal art and exploring unique symbols that are an essential part of this art form. They will learn the meaning and significance behind each symbol, discovering why they are so important in Aboriginal culture.

In our nature-inspired learning session, children will embark on a journey to connect with culture and the fascinating world of local wildlife, focusing on emus. Using clay, children will embark on a creative journey to recreate their own emu eggs.

Welcome to our Bush Tucker Cooking Adventure! In this delightful session, children will dive into the world of native plants, specifically Lemon Myrtle, as they discover the rich traditions and modern uses of this remarkable plant.

Welcome to our Engaging Cultural Connection Workshop! In this lively and interactive experience, children will delve into the rich world of culture and the land, exploring the deeper meanings behind the traditional dances of Aboriginal people.

Indigenous Olympics (Games)

During this engaging session, children will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of traditional Indigenous games. Games have all been adapted to suit different age groups and include various Yulunga games.

Deadly Beats (music)

A fun immersive program where the children will explore the meaning of songlines and some of the traditional Aboriginal instruments used. A demonstration showcases their use, and children learn rhythm, clapping their hands to the beat of the clap sticks and furthermore learn an aboriginal song.

Hunters and Collectors (tools & weapons)

Through this workshop the children will learn about Aboriginal uses for many different types of tools for hunting, gathering and warfare. The workshop begins with an exciting opportunity to get up close and personal by introducing the children to significant Aboriginal tools such as Coolamon, Possum skin, Kangaroo skin, Clap sticks, Message stick, Stone axe, Emu caller.
